Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona and Tucson Metro Chamber Work Together To Help Local Businesses
PHOENIX (Nov. 24, 2015) – Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona (BCBSAZ) and Tucson Metro Chamber announced a joint effort to help employers with their health insurance needs. Together the organizations will assist Chamber members to find affordable medical coverage for their employees while meeting their budget and business goals.
“Small businesses have made it clear that access to quality, affordable health insurance for their employees is one of their biggest challenges. Through this arrangement with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona we are connecting business owners to plan options that offer good choice, access to a large network of healthcare providers, affordable rates and web-based access to information,” said Mike Varney, president and CEO, Tucson Metro Chamber.
Employers will have more than 20 plan options with different benefit offerings and deductible levels. “We hope all small business investors in the Chamber will consider plans from BCBSAZ when making company health insurance decisions,” continued Varney.
“As a local company, we understand what Arizona businesses are looking for in a competitive benefits package. Offering affordable insurance is a driver for retaining talent,” said Mike Tilton, vice president, sales, BCBSAZ. Working with the Chamber, we are able to help more employers find plans that will meet their employees’ needs.”
