What is your BHAG?

Last year was a fantastic year for your Tucson Metro Chamber! Not only did we hire our amazing new CEO, Michael Guymon, but your Chamber was impactful in numerous areas.

Financially, we are in a strong and stable stance. We successfully hosted our State of the City with Mayor Romero, the State of the State with new Governor Hobbs, and had a ton of fun with our Copper Cactus Awards as we celebrated our local businesses. We have now focused our Chamber primarily on the City of Tucson and Pima County as we are the voice of business for our region, and we will do all we can to make sure Tucson’s economy thrives for years to come.

As the Chamber moves forward with our mission, I challenge you, and ask, what is your BHAG (Big, Hairy, Audacious Goal)?

Knowing you are on this planet for a short time, and wanting to make the most of your life, what are you going to challenge yourself to do, to accomplish, to upgrade this year? What impact are you making in your family’s life, in your career, in your community? Do you know what you want? If you don’t have a plan, that is called the “hope system”. You are simply hoping for a good outcome. That won’t get it done. 

I challenge you to dream big, have high standards for you and those around you. Marketing and shoe company Nike said it best… “Just do it”.
