Voters sent a resounding message tonight: Tucsonans expect leadership to deliver core services within the existing budget—not by raising the highest city tax rate in Arizona.

“This victory is a stand for fiscal responsibility,” said Michael Guymon, President & CEO of the Tucson Metro Chamber. “Tucsonans rejected the notion that the only solution is higher taxes on small businesses and working families. Now, we move forward—together—to push for real solutions that strengthen public safety, tackle homelessness, and ensure our city’s future.”

The coalition of businesses, workers, and neighborhoods that stood against Prop 414 isn’t going anywhere. We remain committed to fighting for smarter policies that drive real change.

The work isn’t over—it’s just beginning. Join us as we push for a Tucson that prioritizes efficiency, accountability, and a stronger future for all. #News #Tucson #TucsonElection

Tucson had the privilege of hosting U.S. Navy Week for the second year in a row, from Feb. 17-23! This year, Vice Admiral James Pitts joined our Chamber’s Military Affairs Committee and staff to discuss the Navy’s mission, work, and outreach. We were honored to hear firsthand from Vice Admiral Pitts, who shared insights and answered questions. A special thanks to the Navy staff from the USS Gabrielle Giffords and USS Tucson for making the time to visit us! We’re proud of the Navy’s strong ties to Tucson, where the USS Tucson calls home.
