The Tucson Metro Chamber is honored to welcome Governor Katie Hobbs for her first State of the State address! The Tucson Metro Chamber and our 1,500 members appreciate Governor Hobbs speaking to Tucson and Southern Arizona the day after opening the 2023 Legislative session. That shows great commitment to Arizonans across our great state.
The Chamber is heavily focused on championing an environment where businesses thrive and our community prospers. Even though our efforts are locally focused, we know that decisions made in the Capitol have ramifications in our region. With the work we accomplish with our many educational partners to build innovative workforce programs and partnerships, we are encouraged by Governor Hobbs’s emphasis on strengthening our educational system and the work needed to ensure our employers have greater access to talented and skilled individuals.
