Welcome to the 2022 State of the City!
For over 40 years, the Tucson Metro Chamber has hosted the Mayor's State of the City Address. It is a great opportunity for our Mayor, our business leaders and our community to come together each year to hear, firsthand, the vision and initiatives that aim to make our City a better place to live, work, play and learn.
I would like to thank Mayor Regina Romero for continuing to partner with us on this and other important issues. Earlier this year, Mayor Romero, the Tucson City Council and many business and community leaders came together to help pass Proposition 411, a continuation of our half-cent sales tax to fund our many transportation and infrastructure needs. We know there are many areas where we can find consensus for the betterment of our community and I thank Mayor Romero for her leadership on that issue in particular.
The Tucson Metro Chamber is proud to represent over 1500 company members and we look forward to continuing our collaborative efforts with Mayor Romero and the City of Tucson to support and bolster economic growth and vitality.
