Tucson Metro Chamber Partners with U.S. Chamber

Tucson, AZ (January 14, 2016) – The Tucson Metro Chamber has partnered with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce to provide its investors with valuable new programs and services. Through the U.S. Chamber’s Federation Partnership program, small business investors in good standing with the Tucson Metro Chamber will now receive the benefits of U.S. Chamber membership. This new benefit, adding an important line of connectivity, is provided at no additional cost to investors of the Tucson Metro Chamber.

“Many things that affect business in Southern Arizona originate in Washington, D.C.  The Federation Partnership established with the U.S. Chamber allows Tucson Metro Chamber investors to stay current on major national issues, offers valuable resources to help investors operate and grow their business and provides a voice in Washington representing their interests,” said Michael Varney, president and CEO of the Tucson Metro Chamber.

By joining the Federation Partnership, the Tucson Metro Chamber is helping the U.S. Chamber’s effort to build the nation’s largest grassroots advocacy network.  The Tucson Metro Chamber will continue to focus on local issues and programs. The U.S. Chamber will alert and mobilize Tucson Metro Chamber investors on national issues ranging from taxes to technology to transportation. This ever-growing coalition of small businesses allows the U.S. Chamber to present a strong, unified voice for business in Washington, D.C.

The Tucson Metro Chamber will automatically register all of its qualifying small business investors with annual revenues up to $10 million.  To maintain membership with the U.S. Chamber, a small business must retain its Tucson Metro Chamber membership, and the Tucson Metro Chamber must maintain its membership with the U.S. Chamber.
