The Tucson Metro Chamber hosts more than 50 events annually, providing valuable opportunities to build your network, make strategic connections, and learn from business leaders, elected officials, and industry experts about the key issues impacting the business community. These events are aligned with our Top Four Priorities.

 

State of the State

State of the State

The Tucson Metro Chamber will host Governor Doug Ducey at the annual State of the State luncheon to deliver the State of his State address detailing the issues affecting not only Southern Arizona, but the entire state of Arizona. This is a highly attended and visible event that addresses many important issues.

 

State of the City

State of the City

The Tucson Metro Chamber will host the annual State of the City luncheon where Mayor Rothschild will deliver his “State of the City” address.  This highly attended event provides a platform for Mayor Rothschild to outline his goals, planned policies and objectives for the City of Tucson in the coming year.

 

Multi-Chamber Business Expo

The Multi-Chamber Business Expo will be held in conjunction with the State of the City address.  Make new business contacts and open the doors of new opportunities at the Expo.

Chairman’s Breakfast

The Chairman’s Breakfast is a look back and report card on the Chamber’s achievements during the last fiscal year as well as a look forward to the Chamber’s priorities for the coming fiscal year.

 

Copper Cactus Awards

Copper-Cactus-logo-2014The Tucson Metro Chamber Copper Cactus Awards presented by Wells Fargo celebrates the accomplishments and innovation of Southern Arizona’s locally owned small businesses.

Award Categories:

  • Best Place to Work honors businesses that encourage and support professional growth, education and development for employees.
  • Business Growth honors small businesses that successfully tackle marketplace challenges.
  • Charitable Non-Profit Business honors outstanding charitable non-profits for their exceptional leadership, company culture, business growth and innovation.
  • Innovation through Technology honors businesses that are technology-led and/or look to IT to solve problems and increase efficiency.
  • Small Business Leader of the Year honors exceptional leadership by a manager or owner who is active in the day-to-day activities of his or her company.

 

Holiday Legislative Reception

This reception is held every holiday season to facilitate communication between Tucson’s business leaders and elected officials. The reception provides the perfect opportunity for Chamber members to “bend the ear” of their city, county, and state representatives just prior to the legislative session beginning in January.

 

Interface

The Tucson Metro Chamber has arranged a series of discussions with Mayor Rothschild and County Administrator Huckelberry called Interface.  Interface provides business owners and executives with opportunities to speak directly to these high level public officials about public policy and doing business in Southern Arizona. Learn the latest about policy decisions and other activities in the City of Tucson and in Pima County. Your questions and concerns are welcome. We encourage openness, transparency and robust discussion.
